Optex Curtain<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The Optex Curtain 4 Zones is not from the brand Hikvision, but from Optex. Thanks to the built-in Hikvision Transmitter, it is however usable within the Hikvision AX PRO security system. The transmitter ensures that this detector also works through the wireless signal from AX PRO.<\/p>\n

Where to place the Optex Curtain Detector<\/h2>\n

An ideal location to mount the Optex Curtain outdoor motion detector is on the facade of your home in locations close to windows and doors.<\/p>\n

The Optex Curtain is a detector that drops a kind of curtain along the fa\u00e7ade of your home, thus detecting anyone who comes near your home. The mounting height of the Optex Curtain is ideal at 1 metre, but it can be mounted anywhere between 80 and 120 centimetres.<\/p>\n

The ideal feature of this Optex Curtain detector is that it detects movement on both sides and over a distance of minimum 2.5 to maximum 12 metres, depending on the settings selected.<\/p>\n

This means that you can protect a side of twice 12 metres, or 24 metres, with just one detector.<\/p>\n

Sensitivity adjustment<\/h3>\n

The Optex Curtain Detector has 5 settings for the detection distance. In addition, the sensitivity is also adjustable in 6 positions. For example, if you want to detect people at a shorter location closer to the house, this is no problem. This can be useful, for example, if the house is positioned relatively close to the neighbour’s house.<\/p>\n

Battery powered<\/h3>\n

The Optex Curtain outdoor detector is powered by the Transmitter’s batteries, which last approximately 3 years with average use, after which they are easy to replace.<\/p>\n

Protects against sabotage such as taping<\/h3>\n

The Optex Curtain detector is a wireless outdoor motion detector with protection against masking and false activation. This is also called “anti-mask”. Should a stranger prevent the detector from having a clear view, you will be informed.<\/p>\n
